Join us on Saturday, March 28, 2026, walking in the footsteps of Julia Greeley led by Fr. Blaine Burkey honoring Denver’s Secret Angel of the Poor, Julia Greeley who is on the path to sainthood. You will travel by commercial tour bus to 19 sites known to have been frequented by her, including her boarding house; Sacred Heart Church, her parish church; and Immaculate Conception Cathedral Basilica, where she is buried. At each site Fr. Blaine will give information on Julia’s life and virtues. The pilgrimage will begin at the Capuchin administrative office at 3613 Wyandot at 10 a.m. and return at approximately 3 p.m. A pilgrimage lunch will be served at Sacred Heart Church and pilgrims will each receive a copy of Fr. Blaine’s pamphlet, An Hour with Julia Greeley. His book and other items will be available for sale following the pilgrimage.
"(Last year's pilgrimage) motivated me to want to be more like Julia Greeley in her passion to make the love of Christ known throughout the world. It is so easy to wall out people who have hurt you in the past but that never stopped Julia Greeley. I want to be as colorblind as Julia Greeley and as creative in personifying Christ to others." S. Sikora, 2023 Julia Greeley Pilgrimage.
